How to make healthy soy milk with PHYTOFIT in just a min?

Why Soy Milk is better than Cows Milk?

What's the hidden risk/ danger of cow's milk?

1. Cause Allergies

  • Dairy milk protein is the most likely cause of allergy-related asthma.
  • Casein (a protein in cow's milk) and lactoprotein (a protein in breast milk) are completely different proteins.
  • The human body can digest, at most, 50% of animal protein (Casein), the remaining is left in the body and cause allergy, whereas our body can digest up to 90% of breast milk.
  • Research shows that compared to children who grew up on breast milk, a higher percentage of children who grew up on cow's milk have allergies.
  • A child who grow up with allergies will be affected in many areas due to side effects of medication used, e.g. inhaler, steroids. These medication will affect their normal growth. The itchiness and absence from school will affect their learning process also.

2. Cause Calcium Loss - leads to Osteoporosis (instead of strengthening the bones)

  • Animal protein is acidic, hence the body will dissolve BONE material to provide calcium and phosphate to neutralise the acidic protein. This causes calcium loss from the bone.
  • Animal proteins have a very high content of sulfur-containing amino acids such as methionine and cystein, which have a powerful effect on the kidney's calcium excretion.
  • Thus, animal protein is MORE likely to cause calcium loss than plant protein.

3. Excessive animal protein intake is linked to cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

  • Cow milk contain animal hormones that increase the risk of getting cancersuch as breast cancer and prostate cancer.

4. Intake of Antibiotics from cow's milk

More info below:

1. Milk does not do a body good - massive study says

2. The sour facts about milk: What every parent needs to know

In Summary, Animal Protein:
  • High in Fats and Calories
  • The human body cannot break down animal protein effectively
  • Excessive consumption burdens and damages the liver and kidney
  • Difficult to digest
  • May cause allergies
  • High in saturated fats
  • High in Cholesterols
  • Long term consumption may increase risk of diseases including atherosclerosis, fatty liver, heart attack, and even cancer
  • Excessive consumption increases calcium loss from the body
  • Increases risk of osteoporosis

Is there a better choice?

Yes, we can go for soy bean to get the protein source for our children.

Compared to animal proteins, plant proteins such as soy protein are more easily absorbed by the body.

Plant proteins provide the body with essential nutrients but with less fat and fewer calories.

Besides, soy is rich in phytochemicals to effectively boost immune functions.

The American Diabetes Association hails soy as the ideal source of protein for diabetics as soy does not burden the kidneys.

Soy protein is a plant protein. Hence, it does not contain any animal hormones or fats, making it the healthier choice.

In summary, Soy Protein:
  • Low in calories
  • Easily broken down and absorbed
  • Does not burden health
  • Easily digested
  • Does not cause allergies
  • Cholesterol free
  • Can increase bone density and enhances calcium retention
  • Research shows that replacing animal protein with soy protein can lower calcium loss by 50%.

This is the reason why PHYTOFIT provides you a great convenience to get protein source from wholesome plant food source - SOY bean!

How to LOSE 1 KG in A WEEK?

If you want to do a good weight management, start counting your daily calorie intake!!!

To maintain our existing weight, daily calorie intake requirement for

 - Female: about 1800 kcal/ day
- Male: about 2000 kcal/ day

When we are taking in calories more than the above requirement for a certain duration of time, we shall see ourselves starting to grow 'horizontally'!

Hence, daily calorie intake is very important in weight management

Start practising calculate your calorie intake to prevent from putting on weight!

Lowering your calorie intake is all about everyday choices of what to eat.

If you want to lose 1 kg every week

it is recommended that females take only 800 calories daily and males 1000 calories daily.

Let us check out how much calories of foods that we usually eat...

Check out how much calories we are taking in on our daily meal
  • Milkshake (1 big cup 900ml) --> 2310 kcal (Unbelievable!)
  • Double Beef and bacon Burger --> 1680 kcal
  • Fried Chicken Drumstick --> 400 kcal
  • Fries (1 large serving) --> 440 kcal

Refer to the table for other foods...

How about calorie content of other foods?
  • Cantonese fried noodles (1 serving) --> 690 kcal
  • Rice (1 bowl 180g) --> 240 kcal
  • Chicken Caesar salad (1 serving) --> 990 kcal (due to the salad sauce!!)
  • Chocolate sundae (1 cup) --> 320 kcal
  • Cheesecake (100g) --> 320 kcal

Be wise in choosing our foods -

instead of fried food or foods high in sugar, choose fruits and vegetable, and boiled or steamed food. They are low in calories and are more nutritious.

For example, instead of eating a slice of cheesecake (320 kcal), choose an apple (60 kcal) to satisfy hunger pangs.

Here are some examples of such foods and the amount of calories they contain.

Be sure to include exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle also.

Exercise burns calories and maintains the immune system while you are losing weight. Calories burned during exercise are affected by the intensity of workout and your weight, level of fitness and metabolism.

Let's check out how much calories burned per hour for different body weights!

Other tips for safe, effective weight loss:

  • Drink water and eat high-fiber fruits and vegetables before meals, so that your body is hydrated and receives the nutrients it needs most first. You will also feel fuller before you start your meal and will eat less.
  • Start off your meal by drinking soup then by eating rice and side dishes.
  • Try to avoid oil when cooking, each tablespoon of vegetable oil contains 130 calories!

Hope all will achieve your desired weight healthily :)

Cheers!
